Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Scribblez (scribblez.ai) is a product of Toby the Doby, LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company. In these Terms, "we", "us", and "Scribblez" mean Toby the Doby, LLC. You can reach us at team@scribblez.ai.

2. The service

Scribblez generates AI sketchnotes from text you submit. The service is in beta. Output quality varies and we make no guarantee that any particular result will meet your expectations.

3. Eligibility

Scribblez is for adults. By using the service you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. If you are not, do not use the service.

4. Accounts

You can sign in with an email magic link or with Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure.

5. Credits

• Credits are prepaid digital units used to generate renders. A credit is consumed when a render job is submitted.
• If a render fails because of a system or provider error, the credit is automatically refunded to your balance.
• Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred to another account, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

6. Refunds

Unused credits are generally non-refundable except where required by law or where we determine a service failure occurred. If you believe you were charged in error, contact team@scribblez.ai.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of the text and other content you submit. You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit it and that your submission does not violate the law or anyone else's rights.

8. Generated output

You may use images generated by Scribblez for personal or commercial purposes, subject to the acceptable-use rules below. We do not guarantee that generated outputs are unique or free of third-party rights claims, and you are responsible for how you use them.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Scribblez to:

• break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
• harass, threaten, or harm others;
• generate sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, or other prohibited content;
• attempt to bypass safety, rate-limit, or billing systems; or
• scrape or abuse the rendering pipeline.

10. AI disclaimer

Outputs are machine-generated and may be inaccurate, biased, or unsuitable for any particular purpose. Scribblez does not provide professional advice of any kind.

11. Service changes and termination

We may change, pause, or discontinue features at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid to us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and Toby the Doby, LLC agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Wisconsin for any dispute that is not subject to arbitration or small-claims court.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
